I met up with Julie & Greg on a gorgeous summer evening at the Mer Bleue Boardwalk. It was a beautiful night (despite the bugs!) and I love the dreamy, golden feel to these images. I’m looking forward to seeing them again in a few weeks, this time with a special new addition!
I had the pleasure of photographing so many sweet newborns over the past few months. Newborn sessions are so much fun — every single baby is different, and you never know what photos or moments you will capture. Of course, getting lots of newborn cuddles is a fringe benefit of the job! Here are some of the darling babies I met this summer.
I first met this lovely family when I photographed their youngest son’s birth last November. I was so excited to take some updated family photos for them this summer. Callum has gotten so big, and it was so sweet watching him with his big brother and sister. Here are a few highlights from our session.
When a client shows up for her maternity session with bright blue heels in hand, I know we’re going to get along just fine! Noha was absolutely glowing, and we had a wonderful evening session starting in Major’s Hill Park and ending in the sunken courtyard behind the National Gallery. I can’t wait to meet and photograph their baby boy in just a few weeks! Here are some of my favourites from their maternity session.
A few months ago, my best friend’s sister, Robyn, approached me about doing a best friend session with her and four of her closest girlfriends. I had never really done anything like it before, so I was excited for the chance to try something new. We met up at Strathcona Park in Ottawa (and I must say I was quite excited to see the girls show up in perfectly coordinated — but not matching! — pastel colours, which photographed perfectly in the summer evening light). The session was so much fun, and now these girls have some beautiful photos commemorating their decades-long friendship. Here is a little peek at our session.
