Chris + Lily

I first met Chris and Lily a few years ago, when they asked me to photograph their sweet little family. This summer I was lucky enough to capture their beautiful wedding day at Bean Town Ranch in Ottawa. It was a day filled with love, laughter, a perfectly timed rainbow, two pairs of adorable mint shoes for the bride, a super fun photo booth, and the best donuts I’ve ever tasted. Check out some shots from the day below. Congrats, Chris & Lily!

Everett Turns Two

This week my oldest baby turned two. Two whole years old. I can’t quite believe how fast the time has gone. While trying to get a two-year-old to cooperate for a photoshoot can be just a wee bit challenging, with his daddy working hard to distract him and make him smile, we managed to get some cute birthday-themed shots. I printed one off and used it as part of the decor at his party.

Happy birthday to my dear Everett James. xo

Gender Reveal Party: It’s a…

I was so excited when Brittni and Geoff invited me to photograph their gender reveal party . Brittni is pregnant with their third child, and they already have two beautiful boys. They got together with close friends and family for a backyard BBQ, and then everyone gathered around for the big moment. Geoff and Brittni cut into their gorgeous custom-made cake to reveal whether they would be having a boy or a girl. Even they didn’t know what colour it would be — they had asked their ultrasound technician to write down the sex of the baby on a piece of paper, which they then put in an envelope and promptly drove over to the cake maker’s house so they wouldn’t be tempted to peek! It was a great night and one that I am sure these proud parents will always remember. To see whether Brittni and Geoff are Team Blue or Team Pink, check out the slideshow below!
