The Campbells {Ottawa Family Photography}

I first met this lovely family when I photographed their youngest son’s birth last November. I was so excited to take some updated family photos for them this summer. Callum has gotten so big, and it was so sweet watching him with his big brother and sister. Here are a few highlights from our session.

Miss Madeleine | Ottawa Newborn Photographer

I got to meet & photograph this darling little girl on a cold winter morning last weekend. She was one of the strongest, most alert newborns I’ve had in a long time! She didn’t want to miss out on any of the action and tried her very hardest to stay awake. But mama had the magic touch and we eventually managed to get some darling sleepy shots as well. Here are just a few from our session. (How beautiful is this family?!)

Miss Leia

Well, I’ve fallen a bit behind — I think I have about a dozen sessions to catch up on! It’s been a busy couple of months photographing all kinds of wonderful people. And that includes this darling girl, Miss Leia. She was about two months old during this session, which can sometimes be a tricky age for photos, but she was an absolute star. She is the sweetest little doll with a pile of dark hair and big, beautiful eyes. And that smile! Oh my. To die for. Check it out for yourself below.

Joy to the World: Christmas Mini-Sessions

Last weekend I held my holiday mini sessions, and was so happy to see all of the adorable, festively dressed babies and kids walking through my door. I had set up a simple Christmas backdrop, complete with a tiny tree, hanging ornaments, Christmas lights, and wrapped gifts. I also had some props on hand, including cute red chairs, a basket for the ones who were still too little to sit on their own, Santa hats, a chalkboard, jingly bells, and some sparkly, shiny ornaments. The kids ranged from 6 weeks to 5 years old, and they all looked so cute in their holiday-themed outfits. Everything went very smoothly, and a few days later I was able to email adorable holiday photos to all of the families that participated. Check out some of my favourites from the day below!

1 + 1 = 3!

A few months ago I did some maternity pictures for Margaret (who happened to be one of the most gorgeous pregnant women on the planet!) And last week she asked me to come over again to get some family shots with their darling new addition, baby Phillip. I seriously don’t think a family could get any more beautiful than these three!

Here are just a few of my favourites.

Family Fall Fun {Part Two}

I was lucky enough to meet up with another great family over Thanksgiving weekend — again at Andrew Haydon Park in the west end! It’s a beautiful location, especially in the fall. We had fun walking through the park, over the little bridges, and through the leaves, with their new beagle puppy Oscar running alongside. Two-year-old Ben was as cute as could be, and loved being hoisted on daddy’s shoulders and helping to walk his brand new dog. It was a beautiful autumn morning and we got some beautiful shots to prove it. Check out just a few from our session below.
