I met up with Julie & Greg on a gorgeous summer evening at the Mer Bleue Boardwalk. It was a beautiful night (despite the bugs!) and I love the dreamy, golden feel to these images. I’m looking forward to seeing them again in a few weeks, this time with a special new addition!
When a client shows up for her maternity session with bright blue heels in hand, I know we’re going to get along just fine! Noha was absolutely glowing, and we had a wonderful evening session starting in Major’s Hill Park and ending in the sunken courtyard behind the National Gallery. I can’t wait to meet and photograph their baby boy in just a few weeks! Here are some of my favourites from their maternity session.
I absolutely love when I get clients brave enough to choose an outdoor winter session! Photoshoots in the snow can be a bit on the chilly side, but they are so, so pretty & magical. Melissa & Darryl actually live in Gaspe, Quebec, so a little snow & cold wasn’t going to bother them anyway! We trudged through the snow to get some beautiful shots of the mama- & daddy-to-be. Here’s a little peek at our session!
There are lots of things to love about summertime, including the fact that it’s a perfect time for photo sessions! A lot of my clients obviously feel the same way, because the last few months have been busy, busy, busy. Engagements, maternity, newborns, families, cake smashes — I’ve done it all! So many great shoots that I’d love to share, but here are just a few of my favourite images from the last few months.
I am so, so excited for two of my dear friends who are expecting their first baby… any day now, in fact! A few weeks ago I headed to their place to take some maternity photos at their gorgeous home. We included the Christmas tree in a few shots, and hurried outside when we saw the snow coming down to grab a photo on the porch — magical! I am on pins and needles waiting to hear about their sweet baby’s arrival, and I can’t wait to meet him or her. Here are a few photos from our session.
I had such a great time photographing Karen & her beautiful baby bump. It was a chilly November afternoon, but we ventured outside to get some photos in a nearby park, and it was worth it! The light was gorgeous and Karen is absolutely glowing. I can’t wait to meet their new addition this winter! Here are a few of my favourites from the session.
Jessica and her husband are expecting their first baby in November. She has a completely adorable baby bump and had some great ideas for some beautiful photos, which we took at their home. They don’t know whether they are having a boy or a girl, but they know that either way baby’s name will start with “R” — I thought that was fun! I’m excited to meet baby R in a few weeks and take his or her picture! He or she already has an impressive book collection, which is no surprise considering Jessica is a kindergarten teacher. 🙂
Here are some of my favourite photos from the day:
